We here at the TLL are partnering with the Green Project for another class as part of the Green Project's Projectivities Series.  This time around we will be showing off our newly revamped Energy Audit Kit and showing you the basics of what you would need to know to be able to use the kit yourself!

So come on down to the Green Project (2831 Marais Street) this Saturday March 19th at 10am and start out on a path to a greener home!

New Green Resources

Hello all,

We recently received some great resources from our friends at Global Green.  Our office now has (available for reference, not for lending) a guide to Energy Efficient Homes in Louisiana.  It was developed by the Louisiana State Energy Office and deals with the unique challenges of greening your home in Louisiana.  We will also be keeping a folder of one page references on specific aspects of green building like HVAC and plumbing fixtures and insulation and paint...    The information is also on Global Green's "Build it Back Green" (BIBG) website.

We also want to remind you of our Energy Audit Kit which is available for lending if you are a current member.  It is a great and easy way to see how efficient your home is.  And as always feel free to come in and chat with us about ways to make your home more efficient.

Thanks, and we look forward to see you soon
