Do you have late fees? Do you want to help out people struggling in St. Bernard Parish with rebuilding after Katrina and the oil spill? Do you have extra food around your house you would like to get rid of?
Well if you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are in luck. HandsOn New Orleans is doing a food drive to benefit the St. Bernard Community Center. We will have a Box here at the Tool Lending Library and donated food can go towards any late fees you might have or might still accrue. The Food Drive goes from Oct 1st until Oct 23rd. They are looking for Rice, Pasta, Grits and Beans in particular. We look forward to seeing you soon and are excited about all the non-perishable foods we will be receiving.
